Dunk!

3 - to post that they are far too busy in the real world, doing real things like changing light bulbs, to even contemplate posting about such a trivial thing on a forum.

144 - to point out there are more eco-friendly ways of lighting a room such as fire or sunlight stored in a clay pot; perhaps used by our honourable ancestors?

House of Usher

Nice vintage Ezquerra cover there, Oddboy. Who's Jim diGriz talking to, do you suppose? The reader?
STRIKE !!!

Queen Firey-Bou

then someone posts a very amusing picture on a lightbulb in a hat, & how we all laugh.

until 6 others complain that this is typical & why the forum has less members as it should have, because of stupid hat wearing light bulbs.

Then Jared starts going on about spoons and triangles...

Dudley

1 to "casually" mention that he sells lightbulbs on ebay at a very reasonable price...

Dudley

5 to set up a yahoo newsgroup to discuss lightbulb-related issues "because lightbulbs are interesting, but we don't want to keep the board off-topic".

Queen Firey-Bou

6 to ask whats going on because they don't subscribe to the yahoo group.

Jared Katooie

Well I think they should make triangular lightbulbs. With a spoon instead of that carppy filament.

1 to miss the point.

One to say something completely pointless thats been said millions of times before, therefore stopping the thread in its tracks

Woolly

1 to add another pointless message, just to bump it back to the top and annoy people.

Heh..

Richmond Clements

One to post about the light bulbs he has, that are much better than the light bulbs they actually use, and to go on constantly about his light bulbs, to the point of posting replies to himself about them.

And one to point out the 'bulb mind' that controls the board.

esoteric ed

and a further member to ask not to replace the lightbulb so said member can watch JAWS in the dark. :-)

Slippery PD

One member to horde lightbulbs and thus cause a light bulb shortage (especially those that have a special sticker with them), then post about how the price of older lightbulbs will increase the more lightbulbs people keep....
