I think it's a shit law.  Oz have been doing it for years, @ the bar for the bar staff, which is fair do's.  & look as if it's coming to Scotland.  All it take's is some fab extration fan's in a segregated area.

As someone who had been trying for years to give up smoking for years but failed every time he hit the boozer, I think it's a good law. It has already sorted me out (and who knows, possibly saved my life), for a start. This generation might be uncomfortable with the sudden change, but the next generation of a nation whose main source of social life is the pub will benefit by not being around fags all the time. As for the drinking laws, now that's a different story. Another thread, I think.

This viral marketing is getting quite sophisticated now - there was a gillette one that turned up in my in box about ten times in the two hours after Saddam's capture.  

I delete anything that is titled "Thought this might make you laugh" or "FW: FW: FW: FW: FW: FW: FW: Lawyer gags" as a matter of course, even if it's from me mum.  

I urge everyone to do the same.  One day, the internet may be needed to decode the meaning of life and it'll just be full of rubbish and too slow.
