Yes, Earthlets, I am pleased to announce that a new Judge Dredd strip is now available online, the first to emerge from team Dudley/Bolt-01.  Set your thrill-power buffers to maximum, and follow the link below!



In all seriousness, this is the first time I've developed a script idea all the way to the finished article (with many, many thanks to Bolt-01, who's the sort of artist every first-timer should get to work with, i.e. patient and forgiving!)  

I would really appreciate any comments on dialogue, pacing, ideas that people would care to give.  Plus, of course, I hope you enjoy it!

I liked the ending, and the gag: "Grim."

Also, it's nice to see that Krusty is a clown, simp and wally!

Brutal honesty mode:
You're trying to do too much at once. Perhaps there are too many panels, but I lost the thread a bit in a couple of places.
Cutting through the many good ideas and concentrating, for simplicity's sake, on one good idea works better, I'm told.

Not that I've ever managed to write or draw a comic strip.

Overall, it's very good, Dudley. Congratulations and well done to both you and Bolt!

I think he already volunteered, didn't he?  Just sendmail him!  Your script must see the light of day: if Bolt hasn't got time, try any of the many, many board artists.

Don't be shy, there are loads of people here who would enjoy drawing it every bit as much as you [ahem] enjoyed yourself writing it!
