Joseph Turner! Damn, he`s dead
That guy who does the portraits - Freud.
Eddie Campbell - well, he`s the only artist I can think of who hasn`t done Dredd

Just for 2000AD in general, what about Guy Davis? He's doin cracking work on BPRD: A Plague of Frogs, and I wouldn't mind seeing him on a Tooth/Meg strip sometime...

+rufus+

Guy Davis'd be great! His punk comics ( Baker Street) were really amazing, lotsa letratone and noir atmosphere.
Mignola'd be good ,but as Gordon pointed out,Kev Walker beat him to it!

How's about, if they could get enough cash, erm...
Alex Ross?

And, even thought I didnt personally like his work before, Jim Lee? His art on 'Hush' is class, as is his new work on Superman... or is he too 'superhero'ish?

My ultimate fantasy Dredd artist would be Charles Keeping, legendary children's book illustrator who died in 1989. Can't find much of him on the web but I can't be arsed scanning anything in, so here's one from his version of Beowulf:http://www.heorot.dk/keeping-wiglafbeowulf1-e.jpg">

that`s a lovely beowulf picture, that is.

I`d love to see the children`s illustrator Tomi Ungerer have a go

The one artist who if i could turn back time I would love to see do a Dredd MC1 tale is the late great Joe Colquhoun

Fairy

That would be great to see. I think his style would have been really effective for some of 2000AD

Quentin Blake or Gerald Scarfe for a cover, please.

Gerald Scarfe would be INCREDIBLE.  If only.  Please, Tharg?  Pretty please?

I'd put up with a year of Siku covers for that...

Scottiepunk

Yeah Tharg, comon and give Boo a go!

I'd like to see Noem Bryfogle, who used to draw Batman when I was reading it, working on Dredd.http://www.lambiek.net/artists/breyfogle_norm/greyfogle_batman.jpg">
