A Dredd game like GTA would be amazing. You'd have main missions and also anything going on you spot while driving around you could also handle.

I always used to pretend i was playing Aeroball while playing Hyperball on the C64..it had a jetpac guy left and right of a score tank that went from top to bottom of a pole in the centre of the screen. You also had a guy on the floor.
That was a damn good game for it's time.

For something a bit more genteel how about a nice game of shuggy - "Max Normal's Shuggy"

Or for a kind of Japanese weirdness how about "Mega-City Fatties".  The game comes packaged with devices to measure your weight and body fat levels then you compete in eating competitions by eating real food.

Nu-Earth is the place for a RTS, loads of Norts and Southers running about, atmocraft, Scum Sea Marines, Fort Neuro, poison gas, mini-nukes, even a wee blue fella or two! Also, a practical use for a talking hat, more of the map around a GI is revealed. Maybe the GIs get a bit tougher as their mates get killed and they put their biochips into their equipment...?

El Spurioso

I quite fancy (well, I would, wouldn't I?) a Lobster Random 'day of the tentacle/leisuresuit larry/discworld' adventure/puzzle type game, in which players take the curmudgeonly crustacean on a tour of the galaxy solving puzzles, working out how best to torture unlikely enemies, and chopping irritating characters in half.  It's fried gold!

...And I might get paid for it!

General all 2000AD character beat 'em up fighter ? la Tekken.
Mean Machine Vs. Mongrol: Bok, bok, bokka, smush!

Stan Lee Vs. Ace Garp...

To see how a good comic game should be done buy 'beyond good and evil' on the PS2. It's bloody incredible, and really reminded me of satirical 2000ad strips.

Surely the depth of stories and the action in 2000ad makes action-RPG the ideal format. Imagine a strontium dog game in the mould of legend of zelda.

I thought the Rogue game would be better if played more like Savage or Battlefield 1942 - a team based FPS but with one player taking on a RTS commander role to guide the other players to victory.

Hey beyond good and evil even has a shuggy-type game that you play against a shark in a bar run by a cow. And your sidekick is a pig with fart powered rocket shoes.

I always fancied the idea of a squad-based strategy game a-la X-Com where you control judges on a variety of missions.
Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

It's not really much to do with Rogue Trooper though, is it?  Rogue, as his name implies, is a lone guy out there on the battelfield, a guy with a definite personal mission, and that's what the game should be about.

You just described half the trolls I've ever encountered...
Pffft...

"Mission A, should you choose to accept it, is to personally organise a Time Warner buyout of 2000AD.  And then convince the Time Warner board of directors to rush your crappy film scripts into production."

"Or Mission B - get the red wine stains out of this lady's blouse, and hurry up, because she's coming in at lunchtime to pick up her dry-cleaning."

The choice is yours...
