I'll find the real link when I get home, but the Dredd HL mod was called "Judgement" if that's any help to your Googling? It's good 'cause it'll run on just about anything.

Also, damn your naysaying of stealthy games! I love 'em. Ever since I sliced my first samurai apple in "Tenchu: Stealth Assassins", I've been hiding in the shadows of every game I get a chance to. (Splinter Cell, in all honesty, could do with a bit of knifey knifey action rather than the all purpose elbow knoggin-ing).

Did anyone ever play the Dredd Half Life mod?

Where can I get that from?

Cheers Gothmog, I'll def give that a try when I get home tonight!

As far as I know it's a multiplayer only mod though.
I got the first version from a mag coverdisk a year or two ago but my modem connection was so bad I didn't stand a chance in multiplayer games.  Don't know how much they've changed it since.

Ah yes, forgot about the multiplayer-only-ness of this mod. There is a way of introducing bots into it, however. I can't remember the exact name of the bot program, but will research later...

Way I see a Rogue Game:
ain plot is hunting the traitor general, first level could be the quartz zone massacre with you collecting you dead buddies, getting used to the controls and swearing vengence on the Traitor genral.
Main part of the game should be massive maps with a single objective that gives a clue about the traitor's wherabouts/identity. Maps should be familiar locations (everything that Gordon wiped out basically). Many ways of securing the objective should be available, Going in all guns blazing, recuing a group of Southers and using them as cannon fodder, nicking a big tank and running over Norts, sneaking up and knifing them in the back, etc. Your bio-hcip buddies should also be making comments, arguing amongst them selves, shouting "let's knife!".

I do like the sound of cutting off Norts air supply on their suits.

Rogue Trooper online!

We could all play as Genetic infantrymen, FPS style and when one of you dies another player has to put your biochip into his kit and then you control that piece of kit until he gets back to base and downloads you into a new body?

Yeh, cutting Norty's pipe - superb!

let's knife!

As for Meg GTA, you could use the basic engine but build the design around the judge elements - who's to say you couldn't play it on line ala Star Wars and play Judges and Perps - now that would be cool! BLOCK WAR!!!!!
