One of my fav threads this is. What is that monster Cosh posted? could it only travel on calm seas? so many questions, followed the links to the History Channel interview with a pilot, but no sound on this PC uuuurgh!

Tito would be proud, Sad that they are probably a salute to real heroes and are just rotting away... wouldn't they make great backgrounds to some post Apocalypse film?

Not Eastern European, but I can't think of a better place to post it. If I had a chance to do a post-apocalyptic movie set in a future from fifty years ago I'd go here.

Another non soviet but the ghost town in Famagusta Cyprus is something to behold. Although it has been a long time since I was there I am sure not much has changed.
A true post apocalyptic town.

doesn't seem to be one site for this but google Spreepark Berlin seems to do it
