Any old 2000AD stories / characters you missed?

I just ordered the collection from the 2000AD online store that has an old story that really made
an impression on me as a kid called 'The Dead' about a race of super-evolved pink future humans. I can't wait for
it to arrive - I don't remember that much about it and I keep hearing it's flawed and not that great and blah
blah blah but I'm looking forward to revisiting it. I think Belardinelli might've done the artwork...

Seem to recall this was reprinted in Issue 21 of the Extreme Editions
