b) because she has just won first prize with her dog in a fancy dress competition at a dog show as princess leia and an ewok ,she won a £100 voucher for dog photos done professionally (I just hope they have some sedative for the dog to keep him still enough)

cheers for the good wishes, the way my life has been going down the plug recently it would have been just bloody typical....still,thanks to the missus for nagging me to get it checked out.

So a pretty shit 8 months looks like sorting itself out on Monday morning - started suffering stress & panic attacks as a result of having to commute 3 hours from home to Slough, and back again for over 2 years. It finally caught up on me, and end result was I left the job in February. Loved the job, just could no longer hack the travel required.

Been looking for something closer to home since then, and not had a sniff of a face-to-face interview (only had phone interviews) at all - money started getting tight last month, and fell behind on rent as a result. Landlord served us 2 month's notice last week, and wants us out by end of June. No money available to get us something else in our price range, and benefits only just covering our housing costs per month.

And so to this morning, got a letter from HMRC advising they owed me some money and so getting that soon. So...a little breathing space to help, but not enough.

And just got off the phone with a company I've worked with via my old employer, who I had 2 phone interviews with the other week, and they are coming to where I live on Monday to meet up and have a coffee and a chat, and talk an offer.

Yesterday was dire, today just perked up a bit. Fingers crossed for Monday.
