Edited to add: Before I do - are the Dante trades complete does anyone know. I'm thinking I'll get these not as the older old print ones seem to be getting reprints and so might be able to get a complete set at a reasonable price.

Complete in what sense? What Rebellion's released contains the entire run, but some of the books are now out of print.
I guess there weren't many copies of Bad Company in there—out of stock before I could complete my order. Oh well.

Picking up The Art of Judge Dredd and Thrill-Power Overload myself, and maybe the The Bendatti Vendetta too, but the three Dante books are the ones I'm actually kind of on the fence about, as it's one of those series' that I imagine will get a Complete series of books in the future sooner or later.

"Shall I get one of the Dante books?" I thought. "Nah. There'll be a reprint soon and I've spent too much on my credit card this month already."
Then I came to this thread and.... changed my mind. Ordered Sword of the Tsar. (Picking up the others would have been nice, but I have to stop somewhere on my (lack of) budget.
I really hope the three books can be combined into one order though to save on packing but I'll understand if that's not the case. My fault after all.

If the first collection had sold well in North America then it *might* have happened, but sadly it didn't perform as well as we'd hoped.

I'm almost tempted to pick up Ace Trucking Co. v2 but as I don't have the first volume and understand that it's OOP now (and commanding silly money online) I'm in two minds about it. (It must be nostalgia or something because I wasn't particularly a fan of Ace Garp back in the day or I'd have bought both volumes already.)

If Mean Team is as awful as many of the reviews i'm looking at then a fiver is about right! That being said, I was mainly getting it for the art but their you go.
Mean Team's readable and very silly, in an old-school 2000 AD kind of way. Great art helps, of course, and the series most certainly has that.
As for ACE Trucking, which demos99 mentioned, that's also knockabout, although I preferred the first volume to the second.
Thrillpower Overload should pretty much be an automatic purchase for anyone who doesn't have it already - a brilliant history of 2000ad.

I went for the three Nikolai Dante titles because I've never read any of that strip and The Taxidermist, but decided against Robo Hunter since those stories are collected in the Droid Files. A great way to try stuff you might not otherwise try. Thanks to the board members whose reviews dispersed across the internet on other sites helped me decide.

only from shop.2000ADonline.com" i.e. the shop is the only place you can get them from that point ;)

I missed the whole of Dante, so I'm delighted to have picked up three volumes at a bargain price.
Dante is amazing Timothy, the best thing ever published in the prog. I'm holding off Beast of Rudinshtein and Sword of the Tsar until I get Great Game through to Tsar Wars volume 2, but i'll buy Hell and High Water and an insentive to fill the gap. Thats how I stick to completeing one series at a time!
I got Too Cool to Kill and loved it, so I'm looking forward to 3 lots more. I'm sure I'll manage with the continuity jumps, and I can read it all in order at a later date when I've picked the others up. Does anyone know whether they're going to appear on ios anytime soon? I know digital copies are available on the future store, so it shouldn't be too difficult.

Yeah, mine came yesterday, but instead of the recent Fiends of the Eastern Front GN with the Abnett/MacNeill sequel included as advertised, I received the old hardback Finley-Day/Ezquerra only version.
The parcel included what passes for an apology letter from Tharg ("I submit my not-so-humble apologies to you for this error - the droid in question has been sent for 'recycling'." - Arf!) and a 25% discount on all 2000 AD shop stock.
I'm quite pleased to be honest as the hardback is lovely.
