When I was at school, a mate of mine told me he had this booklet, given away free with 2000ad, that charted the early years of Joe Dredd.

He said that it showed what Joe's childhood was like, how he was abused by his mom and how Rico was the favoured of the two brothers.

Of course, when I asked to borrow it, he couldn't find it and instead borrowed me a copy of The Eagle.

I was too polite to say it then, but if you're reading this, DB, you are the worlds worst bullshitter.

Anyone out there got a copy of Paint Shop Pro 7 that I could borrow?

It has to be the full version, as I've had the shareware version on my system once and it won't let me load it again.

It's for a good cause, as you'll no doubt find out.

I've read the various threads detailing the various continuity errors in Judge Dredd, so here's the chance to solve some of them.

The changing shape of the street Judge's helmet is down to a very competetive contract to make them. Various companies have had a go, including a Hondo city firm, Brendan and Mcarthy, who based their design on a samurai helmet.

Anyone out there got any Judge Dredd figures for sale, other than the re action ones?

They can be any type action, figurine etc.

"Marvel Comics has scrapped an idea to portray the late Diana, Princess of wales, as a mutant superhero.

In a statement the company said "upon reflection" it would remove Diana and all references to the Royal Family from it's upcoming X-static monthly comics.

Marvel had planned to introduce Diana as one of a team of mutants in a five-series storyline called Di another day.

Buckingham Palace has so far declined to comment on the issue."

Is it the hot weather? Everyone seems to be on edge here these days. I read comics to get me away from real life, which at times, has left me suicidal. So to see life's darker side manifest itself on the one place that cheers me up is heart breaking. Now I know shit happens(believe me I know), but lets try and bring back the fun.

I ask this because I haven't read many, and people seem to have a real downer on them. The one's I have read, sleaze bros, bob the galactic bum and lobo were great.
