Perhaps it's something to do with the Ro-mans of Fort Neuropa adopting the turtle formation.

I think CFM is referring to Bagman.

As I know I've ranted before, if the writer and artists produced a strip the specific intent that it be best presented as an unbroken story, then that's fine (although I suspect it would be a rare beast that would work like this and read well week-to-week).  Otherwise, leave it alone.

I love the earlier Case Files, with their unremovable captions.  Reading the newer trades leaves me feeling breathless as I can never work out where to stop.  It's like trying to read the Hound of the Baskervilles served up as one long block of text with no chapter breaks.

I saw that and liked it too.

So, all those stars. A Texas City Judge or some kind of Cursed Earth sheriff?

I like the design of the bolero jacket, with the integrated shoulder pads and the pouches matching those on the belt.

Not so sure about the title "Demon Nic".  It's obviously meant to be 'demonic' but the verbal connection jars a bit.

Nice site, Judge Jack.  There's a decent Rogue Trooper:

...and lots of Dredds, but you'll have to use the Custom Search to see those.

In the spirit of only offering benign or silly criticism, shouldn't the title be Code 99 Red?

Perhaps that's the liberty they're taking with canon.  Or grammar.

But seriously, good luck to them and I look forward to seeing what they produce.

Yes, but some of them aren't actually on the cover because they didn't use the whole picture (though it is reproduced in full inside the book).

Is there already a thread for Mr. Ortiz here anywhere?

My thanks go to Mr. Ortiz, and my thoughts to his family.

Personally, I'd like to say thanks to Flip for that lovely Zombo pic, Dash for his selection box of madness and, of course, Megabus for his heroic efforts yet again!

Thanks Pete; you can add me to the list of Wells-wishers bringing praise and thanks for your efforts wrangling this thread into being again.  There are too many good things to list individually but Alex's Dredd-ful Christmas is 'soopoib', Megabus lived up to the 'mega' part of his name again and I'm still, still weeping over that Lawmaster kit. Thanks also to John and Pete for being such good sports and also two of the most positive and good natured people on a forum that seems to be full of larger-than-life good natured and positive people.

Furthermore my New Year's resolution will be not to extrapolate Pete's avatar to look like that picture of Dredd reading his law book sat on the lav.

Agreed (but already pointed out).

Brilliant snow globe, Supersurfer!  A perfect Christmas idea, executed with talent and style.

I don't think I've enjoyed anything quite as much as 'Your mouth is full of figgy pudding',

Thanks TordelBack, you've made my day. Merry Christmas one and all!

There's a couple more stuck in limbo but who knows?  Maybe you'll get lucky and my computer will stay broken!

In retrospect I should've gone with "Your mouth is full of sprouts."
