halloween; night dance

Halloween: Nightdance is in my opinion one of the greatest tie-in comics ever produced.
It's also blackly horrific, I think the only comic I've found disturbing (as an adult).

I've the collected edition, luckily picked it up years ago at cover price.

I chanced upon a copy at the library years ago and was very impressed , it tapped back into how weird Myers was in the original film with his little pranks , much more disturbing than the sequels

Good selection of stories in Target, but I felt in the article about beatings Dredd has had over the years surely the Howler should have been mentioned, he rammed Dredd's head down the bog.

oh and Jason vs Leatherface - 3 part series with covers by Simon Bisley
the seven prequel graphic novel as it's stupidly priced now same goes for halloween; night dance and halloween; the deaths of Laurie Strode.

lobo/the mask two part crossover by Alan Grant and John Arcudi with art by Doug Mahnke, used to love the old mask comics speaking of which....

Walter: campaign of terror ,4 part spin off featuring the mask's brutal enemy

marshal law/savage dragon and marshal law/pinhead

death race 2020 Pat Mill's and a few issues by Kevin O' Neill , annoyingly ceased publishing without a finale

hellbreed- the hellraiser/nightbreed crossover

the complete Lobo library  -all the issues and spinoffs and remains of banned issues

flinch- vertigo's all star horror anthology

metallzoic

reprints of scream and hookjaw , with rebellion republishing old fleetway stuff who knows....

Another fun year at the bubble. Pity Saturday's weather was shite. Waited 15 mins to buy mondo's death ,realised the bulk of queue ahead was people wanting stuff signed off Olly Moss so once inside managed to snag print quite quickly . Also bought vice's small Dredd print (left it with artist to get it coloured i with felt tips) which came with a free print of walter the wobot. Was overjoyed to get a sketch off Henry Flint, queue was surprisingly small. Was gutted I could'nt get a sketch off Frazer Irving as he was fully booked. But asked Roger Lanridge to do me a hybrid of mean machine angel and animal , I think it's superb. Think I saw Pete Wells on the phone outside and as I left on sun saw Burdis talking to two guys with great home made rojaws and hammerstien  masks.

Loved first issue, the become a super hero shop was pure Marshal Law, and  some bits reminded me of the film gamer.
