ROGUE TROOPER: THE FUTURE OF WAR is the first of four books which will collect the complete Traitor General story, as it ran in 2K.

MEKNIFICENT SEVEN is the same stuff as the Titan edition.

ATAVAR and BISON are currently available. WARDOG should be out at the end of September.

BATMAN/DREDD FILES is out now. SINISTER DEXTER: GUNSHARK VACATION is out in the next week or so.

*All* of these should now be available on Amazon, and we're working on the other distribution avenues. Expect full bookstore availability in the next month or so.

*sob* yes, it's Chronos Carnival. I'll be doing a complete edition in the run-up to its reappearance in 2000AD Prog ARE YOU COMPLETELY ON DRUGS, MAN?

Could be worse?it could be Wireheads! :D

Actually, despite what I said earlier (about Revere and Firekind), I hope the series you were referring to was Luke Kirby (which would probably sell well, what with it being like a non-shit version of Harry Potter). Of course, that chances of this being the case are likely about 1/1000, but you never know.

Still, two of my "hopes" are to be fulfilled in this run: Bad Company (presumably, pre-shite?i.e. the Kano arc) and the collected Dante (even if I have the Hamlyn book). What would now be lovely would be for Grant Morrison to get his head out of his arse, enable reprints of Zenith, and for there to be a complete Zenith collection, including all the "extras" (that annual story with St. John, Zzzzzenith, etc).

JamieB

BAD COMPANY is BC Books 1, 2, 3 and SIMPLY.

Still nothing new on ZENITH, but watch this space...

"Because it's more useful to use ad space for, y'know, paying customers..."

Heh :-)

Fair point, Jamie. I just feel there's not been much in the way of in-comic publicity for the DC/Rebellion line - a shame, since it's definitely the biggest & best thing to happen with 2K reprints for years.

There are regular full-page ads in the comic for the new Extreme Edition & Megazines, as well as the Rebellion line of trades, and it'd be nice to see the DC/Rebellion trades get the same treatment.

Re: Amazon -

Rebellion's Batman/Judge Dredd Files - ?12.99 - dispactched within 4 to 6 weeks +?1.99
for it being a "hard-to-find title"

What's that all about then, eh?
Better set your phaser to stun.

Oddboy

Jamie - are these books likely to be in places like FP or other specialised Comic Book Shops yet?

*sigh*

I'll get on to this. The US versions aren't supposed to be available here in the UK...

Just pre ordered the Robo Hunter and Dante collections on Amazon. Can't wait, I've waited years for Verdus to be collected again.

Matt

Just thought I'd add this. I was in a comic shop just off Broadway in NY city last month, and the place was full of posters & free giveaways promoting the DC/Rebellion deal. Looks like it's going to make a bigger splash than previous attempts at pushing 2K in the U.S. Just wait till Hollywood gets a sniff and starts strip mining the back catalogue for movie franchises.

IndigoPrime

Excellent?almost all of the non-shite BC. Well, chalk up one sale from me, then. (Shame the annual story's not in there, though, detailing what happened to Franks' brothers. Then again, it was in colour, I guess)

IndigoPrime

I thought that as well, but space is obviously an issue in 2000 AD at the moment. I suppose a re-org of the Nerve Centre might help. Get rid of the bloody great title and move a more succinct intro to the right of Tharg. Then, in the newly created space, you could include small pics of the latest stuff for sale (Meg, Extreme Ed, books, etc). Alternatively, a re-jig of Input could provide a similar space-saving (and we hardly need the same pic of Tharg again, and the same background image). In fact, that would make sense from a design and a logical flow point of view?you finish the prog, and then find out what else you can go and buy.
