liberated and committed

Yadda reading since prog 313 blah a lot like Mr Lucas I waited until technology reached my vision before finally subscribing for the first time ever on line today.

I feel somehow liberated and strangely committed all at the same time.

Can anyone share any other similar stories of liberation and commitment through 2000ad?

I started buying the prog again with 1250 & subscribed from 1264. This was the best thing I've done for ages.

I too feel liberated as no more sniggers from the local newsagent to put up with or sneering from fellow customers as I dug through the bottom shelf looking for the prog next to Sonic the bloody hedgehog or whatever. And finally avoiding eye contact with teenagers in the queue who are purchasing proper magazines while I, 35 years old and besuited stand there with a comic.

I feel an increased level of commitment as no matter any short term dips in quality I'll still be there.
