[Generally Contrary]

I am a big fan of 9th Art.  Or was, in that I haven't bothered reading it in ages.  I but Comics International, but how much of that is to read my own advert I don't know.

I don't even absorb comics news and information any more. I buy Comics International, but I don't have time to read all of it these days.

When I read that any of the major publishers is printing a new title, or that a long-running superhero comic has a new and exciting creative team from issue #367, or that the Avengers are all going to be murdered, I am filled with indifference.

I suppose the kind of publicity that makes me sit up and take notice is an advertisement in the back of one of the regular comics I read, or a plug for a project one of the author's friends is working on in the editorial comment on the letters page.

Other than that, I browse what arrives on the shelf every Thursday afternoon.
