A few weeks ago, whilst we still had snow on the ground, the weather forecast informed us off the mother of all snow storms. People booked the day off (and it takes a lot here for people to do that!).

The storm never materialised. It's not the first time that weather control have got it wrong, BUT it may well be the last.

Since admitting their mistake, they've started showing "split-screen" weather forecasts, not wanting to hedge their bets, on forcast one, they have how they predict it might be, and on forecast two, they show "the other option".

Something about this method of forecasting just seems wrong!
Cheers
