New Judge Dredd films

Has anyone seen the film treatments on the shoreline entertainment website? If you haven't go check them out, they're the funniest things I have read in ages. If you thought the first film was bad then these sound even worse. Hershy in love with Dredd! Anderson pregnant! Please stop these people before they destroy anyone taking Dredd serious ever again

Well, in the original draft Hershey was in love with Anderson and Dredd was pregnant so think yerself lucky.

I have this feeling they were put out so that people could mentally tie them in with the first Judge Dredd film.  I don't think they were ever actually going to be as they were stated in those press releases.

Once people accept the idea of two sequels they then won't be surprised when they change a little and become slightly different movies For such is the nature of the business).  

But if they'd just put out what they intended to do from the beginning there might have been a lot of cries of 'but that's entirely different from the movie!'

Anyway I'm just a paranoic weirdo, so I may be entirely wrong on this one.  They may just have had a change of heart or Shoreline wrote that first synopsis, just so they had something tangible to show people.

If Hershey is in love with Dredd and/or if Anderson is with child then I will not watch these films.
Quite frankly I might not watch them anyway.


(But whatever I say now I'll watch them regardless - you all know that.)
