OK, just flicking through the radio times today at the new dr who and lo and bahold a creature ripped straight outta 2000ad...

I have provided the link (bit poor apologies) but in the top left of the page are what is described as a swarm....of what I recognise as DUNESHARKS!!!!!

All from previous cursed earth stories, on one hand I am quite excited in seeing them in action on the other hand...Rip Off!!!!!

aigh... but seeing as rebellion has two seperate production deals signed they need to protect their copyright. Or be reimbursed for it. Lets face it the dune sharks in Dredd are great but if they pop up in the movie now Joe Public would go 'oh they've nicked that from Dr Who.'

Considering the entire concept of the Cursed Earth storyline and some of the background to Dredd was ripped off from "Damnation Alley", it's fair game.

I always remember reading The Cursed Earth for the first time. I'd read Damnation Alley some time before and I had this wonderful 'Hang on...' feeling about half way through Dredds adventures.
I guess Mr. Zelazny's lawyers weren't too good.
