This is my mother's work, I was at the exhibition opening last night (art openings are always good for free booze by the way )

It's mostly scenes of our hometown Derry from back when she was growing up.

With regards to comic art, my mother loves it. She appreciates the skill in everything from the consistent figure drawing to the story telling aspects. She's always asked to have a look through mine, (even though she never read them, she's only ever been interested in the pictures). She adored the art in The Grievous Journey of Ichabod Azrael and the Trail of the Dead Left in his Wake.
