So at next years Pittsburgh ComiCon Barry Kitson will be there. Finally my first chance to meet an art droid for the first time.

Get your name down early for a sketch - they're well worth it!

His Anderson stuff was amazing!

I'm only going for one day, but I'm hoping to get myself an Anderson sketch.

Nice one, mate! I'm envious.

I have particularly... teenage memories of Kitson drawing Anderson with half her top torn off.  :)

I also really liked Kitson's work on Empire, which was written by Mark Waid. It was an under-rated comic, set in a world years after the villains have taken over.

It's the lady in the diaphanous* negligée from Gribligs that lingers fondly.

*That's 16-point word right there.

Trout

You can have as many points as you like for that observation, mate.

good luck!
Barry takes ages to do sketches, which are not actually sketches but full paintings, so he's always worth it. But you need to get your name down first- there's usually something on his website.

Absolutley, I was in line from 10.30 till closing for Barry at the Thought Bubble in Leeds. He has done them over Christmas for me a Barry Allen Flash and a Dick Grayson Robin full body watercolours. He also does 5 min head shots which are also watercolour which you would get a little quicker. They always worth it and he is one of the very few artists which still does art for a donation rather than set fee.
