Anybody know where I could get a copy of this? - and what legalities/royalty issues there are RE: re-staging it?

I saw that in 1987. Had a good old chat to Alan Moore that day as well who had popped up to watch it.

You Sir, are now an object of deep and almost resentful envy; seriously? How cool is that?

Best thing I can think of is contacting the folks at the Lass O'Gowrie who staged it pretty recently so they can presumably tell you what the deal is or put you in touch with someone who can:

More on its history here:

And Barney has the 2001 adaptation:

if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

If you do put it on, save a few on the programs for people on here!

I have one of the original ones but didn't get one from the Manchester lot. :-(

The sale of them on here may just finance the printing of them!

Well I'm moved more by curiosity than an actual plan, though I do run a tiny theatre company which <SHAMELESS PLUG> will be performing the stand-up tragedy 'Spinal Krapp' as part of the '10 days in Dublin' Arts festival, in early July.</SHAMELESS PLUG>
If I ever can get to do it, Posters and Programmes shall definately be kept aside for the good folk as wants 'em.  That's a promise.

Incidentally, the scytheplayshttp://scytheplays.blogspot.ie/ group, seem to want to tour, so you might catch it yet.

Okay Scytheplays did their own adaptation, which (understandably) they don't want anyone else to use, but it still leaves me pretty much in the dark R.E. using another adaptation or working something out from the comic-script independently. If we did stage it, we'd be happy to pay for rights, we just want to know if theoretically we can, and if so, who to pay them to.
