the main thing to remember is that if you're going to link to an external site don't forget the 'http://'

e.g. <a href='http://www.2000adonline.com'>2000ad online</a>

something about relative paths...

Well, yeah: include the Http bits if you want the link to actually work... I was just aiming to show the bits around the link.

Of course - if you want to do a nice "open in new window" link, then do this:

Click <A HREF="http://homepage.ntlworld.com/kathan" TARGET="_blank">HERE</A> for Oddboy's website.

which becomes:

Click http://homepage.ntlworld.com/kathan" TARGET="_blank">HERE for Oddboy's website.
Better set your phaser to stun.
