I am back! Anyone see the error in this week's Dredd?

Hi I am back from post limbo. Did you miss me?

So peeps, ta for the threads dedicated to me.

At this rate I really will have a big ego!:)

Oh yeah in this week's Dredd, John or Carlos made a big mistake!

The tap was dripping right? Perp turned it off, right?
Dredd realised it wasn't dripping. Gun fight with perps follows.

So how come on the last page, panel 3, the tap is dripping water on the dead perp's face?

Kind of makes the story a bit of a non starter really. A bit leaky plot wise, you could say!

A tap that is leaking, then not leaking but is leaking again at the end of story.

Mmm...flawed chain of events there.

Anyway I am off for my tap dancing lessons.

Hi Scojo,
I don't think that the perp acutally turns the tap off, rather just covers the faucet with his thumb, hence when Dredd shoots him the tap starts to drip again.

Actually I didn't fully understand the Dredd story at first. Tap leaking or otherwise. Ahem.

It took me a few minutes to realise who the perps were and why they were they.

2 points.
1) Rico said that the block has its own liason block judge.
I thought Dredd was the block liason judge up to that moment.

2)The reason Dredd allowed Lopez to take the Posh spice was he didn't like men with facial hair. Not his unsuitable character profile. Interesting that Dredd never admitted that to himself in this week's story.

Maybe that explains why he left the Freddie Mercury poster up on the wall of his apartment when he left.

Yeah quite right Marc.

Actually when I read it yesterday, I never noticed the perp covering the faucet or the tap dripping on the dead perp on the last page!

I just assumed he turned it off. Silly me!

Dredd din't get Lopez to take the spice because of the moustache.  That's what Lopez said.  Dredd always wondered if he should have done things differently or whether his personal animosity with Lopez influenced the decision.

Oh I've just checked and I'wrong:

Lopez:  Bollocks Dredd, it's the tash isn't it?

Dredd:  Look face fungus, take the spice, I'm sick of looking at that daft tash of yours, if I have to look at it again, I'm gonna hi-ex it.

Lopez:  Yeah?  Yeah?

Dredd:  Yeah

Lopez:  Okay, I'll take the damn spice, then I'll die, see how bad you feel then!

By now I'm sure many people have posted pointing out your error on this one, thought with all that time you'd saved by not posting for a few days it may have given you time to read the story before you posted your comments.

I also don't think this is the forum to go around calling people twats, you f*cking c*cksucking c*nt.

You see language that is just inflammatary, it's great for stirring things up, but it doesn't really do anyone any good in the end.

I agree with you about the cat though, I wish I'd never heard of it (or seen the photo).  But let's at least all try to play nice.

He may have pointed out his own mistake but if wasn't the twat he is he may have not been so quick to think he'd got something on someone.
