I am writing this message from a cinema seat, staring at a blank screen through 3D specs, waiting for it to start! Woohoo! Me and the boys have seen them all, but wife hasnt seen a single marvel movie. Thisll be fun.

Loved it! Especially the Big Green fella. Haven't laughed at movie so much in AGES. Total crowd pleasing awesomeness, although I hadn't a clue what was happening for the first half hour as I fell asleep during THOR. I take it the source of the power in this movie had something to do with that movie?
Never ever bloody anything ever

Bat King

Really enjoyed this film!!!

If you liked any of the films before this one...  Go!!!

The Enigmatic Dr X

I liked it too.

Second best superhero flick, after Superman II.

Misses the top spot due to a lack of supervillain.
Lock up your spoons!

SmallBlueThing

Oh my fucking bollocking christ- could that have been any better? I havent enjoyed a movie that much in ages- exciting, hilarious and surprising in equal measure, and with some of the most genius bits of screen comedy ive ever seen.

This deserves to throw Avatar off the top spot, and is by a country mile the best comic film ever made. Joyous.

And, for the second time, Loki proves himself surprisingly the best supervillain in the screen marvel pantheon. How did that happen?

If you know your Marvel, stay for the credits-sequence, as you'll piss your pants.

Even my wife loved it, and my boys declared it 'the best film ever!'. Cant really argue with them, either. Tears of joy throughout.

Bat King

High praise there SBT.

Definitely best ensemble comic adaptation in my opinion. Big fan of the Ironman movies so hard to be fair when comparing... but, they handled Ironman correctly...

All the solo heroes were fittingly portrayed. Four films, I'm not counting either Hulk film as they didn't have Agent Coulson and/or Fury connecting them, came together marvelously (pun not intended, but I left it there).

So Joss Whedon did it well, I knew it!

Still wait for Subtitled version of it, maybe in two weeks  :(

Bat King

Was it my imagination, or did Loki REALLY call The Black Widow a "mewling quim", when he was locked up and they had their little chat? A check online reveals I am not mistaken! Marvellous!

And- did anyone else, who saw it on a non-imax screen, find it, er, very small? As in the ratio was alarmingly close to a widescreen tv, and not cinemascope- which I was expecting. I'm sure the last time I saw something in 3D (Ghost Rider 2 probably) it was in scope.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK did have Tony Stark, though.
Not sure if pervert or cheesecake expert.

Bat King

I forgot to re-watch that one... Can't remember Stark being in it... better re-watch.

When they did the extra Stark scene, Hulk was intended to be the 'enemy' in the Avengers.
