I'm now on Case Files 12 - and blimey they've shrunk aint they? Though I'm pretty pleased that almost half of it is in colour. I guess '89 was when they started printing in full colour.

I just reread Origins the other week and I forgot that Joe and Rico weren't the only clones of Judd/Justice Dept. So, what happened to the other clones that were birthed with Joe and Rico, were they just MIA/KIA along the way?

Is it ever explained why the Justice Dept stops cloning? I mean, I know about Dolman and Rico (not Rico Dredd, the other one). They have all the gene stock they need. They could pump out battalions of clones. Unless, maybe, they don't want a repeat of the Judda?

Warlord games have just put up a "pat -Wagon" up for pre-order and looking pretty good.
It's pretty similar to the pic Shark posted but it doesn't say which artist it's based from. The warlord site has a good few angles to look at.

Indeed. The "Official" Pat Wagon. Looks mainly like an armoured general transport with pintle mounts and a mortar, 'cos why not?



I always took H-Wagon to be a catch-all term, like Armoured Fighting Vehicle, could describe anything from a Land Rover with a machine on the roof all the way up to a Challenger II Main Battle Tank.

In Dredd 2012 - when Dredd and Anderson are in the school classroom Dredd stands in front of a "US" flag.

1) Would there be a US flag, as the US doesn't exist, right? The three MegaCities are independent city states. I don't think I've seen a US flag in the Progs, though I may be *highly* inaccurate about that.

2) There's 6 stars on the flag. Who're the six stars? MC-1, MC-2, TC,... Vegas? and... Isn't there something called Uranium City? Though I have no idea what that is.

Indeed. That's what first alerted me to Absalom in the first place. Never heard of it 'til then. I'm primarily a Dredd reader, but I'm branching out.

I've just finished the last volume of Absalom; Terminal Diagnosis, and I gotta ask, respectfully, did something happen with this volume?

By that I mean, Volumes 1 and 2 were building up to something great, so many teasers about the Absalom lore was thrown in and it looked like the wider Absalom world was going to be explored in the last volume.

However, I feel like Volume 3 just.... ended. The ending came out of nowhere, and nothing from volumes 1 or 2 are explained or further elaborated upon, and in fact I'd go so far as to say a few potholes might have cropped in.

Anyone else feel like this?

Seems to have always been the rules, even in the early pre-Dredd days of the Judges. There was that big controversy with Fargo and his lover in Origins.

As far as regular judges, I think only Wally Squad and Holocaust 12 members get a pass.

Apart from Rico Dredd who apparently was allowed to sawn around in Hawaiian shirts and have swimsuit-model lovers in broad daylight without SJS coming for him.

I saw it awhile ago on Youtube. It's pretty awesome.

I repeat my statement I made on YouTube. In a World where we have 32 seasons of Kardashians, how do we not have an open-world Dredd game, yet? Especially as it's owned by a friggin' game publisher!!!!

Question on Megazines.

I haven't really read the Megazines as I'm going through the CCFs, but I've stumbled onto Mechanismo and it was originally published in 2.12-2.17 What does "2.12" mean?

Additionally; This might sound odd, but; what are the Megazines? I mean, I know they're a monthly anthology comic, but what makes it a Judge Dredd comic? There's one Dredd story in them and the rest are other stories and stories from past 2000AD Progs. They seem like monthly 2000ADs to me, but I'm aware that I'm new to it all, so I don't know.

Out of interest, what are Conapt? Are these essentially blocks of flats, not Mega-Blocks? I'm on CCF 11 and I still can't figure it out.

Okay, time travel; I know it's mentioned that What's Done is Done, but in City of the Damned we learn that the Justice Dept has time travel. Surely things like Chaos Day warrants a pop back in time to avert things, no?

I gotta say, I'm really liking the pre-Dredd Judge stories. The novels are pretty fun too.
