I'm slightly gutted that it was (admittedly indirectly) due to me linking to an interview with Rufus that he's gone. That'll teach me not to aim my posts higher than my usual level of non-sequitur in future.

Let's not forget he was one of the most productive and helpful members of the board, putting aside his own limited time to assist many of us in many different things. Photoshop, inking, Manga Studio, Lettering, the process of professional comic work, the art comp- the list goes on (including his voluntary anti-moron patrolling).
The people who drove him away can't collectively come anywhere near the depth and scope of his contribution.

^^This. It's hard to imagine the trials and tribulations of this board over the years without Mr Campbell.

I usually borrow my neighbours' cats, by the way.  They're rounder than Jojo and I can discard them when I'm bored of them.

One of the many lessons i have learnt in life is that it is always better to leave something behind and move forwards instead of dwelling on it and even beating yourself up over it as it is really not that important or serious.

I know that with fallings out this is not always possible depending on what you have fallen out over but i am talking generally.It was unfortunate what happened the other day but that was the other day and time moves forward so hopefully Jim will feel the same way and come back when he is good and ready therefore making this a temporary situation.

Seriously, has everyone noticed the drop off of "Unread Posts" today? Tues/Wed/Thurs are usually busy traffic days. Well not so much Tues, but it did occur to me it may be connected with the 3 valuable posters who'e left.

Tords always good to me. Jim always helpful, even if it's a task in itself. Trout, well, friendly and 2000ad focussed.

yep, TB's a top bloke and one of my favourite boarders - from what he told me I think he's just sorting out a few personal things, nothing serious. Not really my business to talk about his personal life so i'll say no more than that, other than I hope he comes back soon.

Just hope Tordelback gets sorted whatever needs to be sorted. He seems like a very reasoned bloke and I'll miss him around here.
