What do I love about Halo? A lot, when I get my Complete Ballad of Halo Jones!!!! (Amazon still have not posted it!) For me, it was the way she just needed to escape, to keep moving-even when she was frightened, she still was brave, and kept exploring. Halo Jones rocks!!!!!!!!!! I like all the Books about the same, and I like the way it darkens by Book 3. Great series+++++++++++

Yes DD, I read somewhere many yeasr ago that it was orginally planned to go to like 7 books, and Halo winds up as a space pirate queen, but u know what, I think Book 3 is so powerful that the ending is just so right for Halo. I can't wait to have this TPB in my hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like Morrison's work (what I've read of it, bascially Zenith and JLA) a real lot, but in this article the sarcasm is so arch, it actually comes across as slightly self-defensive. Thats Ok, but its a little bit boring in some ways. hey, I guess thats just him.

I'm a GIANT Dr Who fan as well, and it couldn't be more pleasing to my ears-I hope there is some two parters, but I'll take what I can get. Its got to better than Colin Baker at any rate!!!!!! Seriously, cheap gibes aside, I think it would be just fantastic if they start pumping out great Who shows again!! Bring it on!! And rightly so they should pay a good price for the Daleks!! They are icons!! ABC in Oz is showing all the Dr Who shows from episode one at the moment. Its totally cool.

I agree-I think Zenith has had his day, and good luck getting Morrison back, but what I would *dearly love* (but not too dearly! *lol*) is a big Zenith collected series, with the interludes as well. I bought Book 1 way back in the 80's, but my fave is Book 3-I would love to have that in TPB. Its a shame its tied up in legal issues, I hope it resolves itself, because its one of 2000Ad's greatest strips IMO.

I'd have to say that episode 1 was one of the crappest films I've seen in a long while, very very dissapointing, episode 2 was about 6.5/10 which is probably being generous. I know George Lucas could spend the rest of his life counting his billions but as a film-maker he's crap now. and his stories are really weak and predictable these days. I just hope he doesn't make Indiana Jones 4 as crap as the new Star Wars films...we'll see

thanx mate-I *quite* liked the Kronicles of Khoas but easily my fave ABC Warrior story is the Black Hole Story-Bisley drawing them, (at least the first half) it was just superb. SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!!!! My fave has always been Joe Pineapples, tho Hammerstein is pretty cool too.

My thoughts on Trial of Orlok...underwhelming but OK. I think it could have been made a bit more dramatic. Orlok had his reasons, I wouldn't have minded a more impassioned defence. and a proper escape attempt. just my thoughts guys. loved the ABC Warriors in the same issues. Since when can Mongrol construct a sentence? don't know if I like that change. he works better as a grunt. I'll be collecting the rest of that arc... Snow/Tiger...its Ok, nothing too sensational, but I only read the first 3 episodes. We'll see. Krestel u were saying it generated a fair bit of controversy on this board dude? was that because it has something to say about Muslims & neo-facists and all that?? gotta admit it kinda missed me. nice art tho.

yep that will be my next mission, I'm very lucky to have found this stash of 2000AD's, I don't think they are very popular in Sydney, so its lucky for me++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++really enjoying getting back to the fold!!!!

Further to a conversation we were having last week, I just went and got the issues with Trial of Orlok!!! Hey and I noticed there is an ABC Warriors story (I love the Warriors!) there as well so its all good++++
